On this page, we follow the path of your favourite Trivega tomatoes all the way to the store shelves. Fasten your seatbelts, the journey starts now!

At our sites, we produce in high-quality, modern greenhouses on nearly 30 hectares. In addition to the greenhouses, production is also carried out under foil tents on 5 hectares. It is expected that by 2021 the size of our production areas will reach 45 hectares.

We heat our entire production areas with geothermal energy.

Az állományainkat december elejétől január végéig telepítjük, melyek napsütéses tél esetén már február végén, március elején kezdenek teremni. A friss és fantasztikusan finom paradicsomokat december végéig minden héten szedjük.

We plant our stocks from the beginning of December to the end of January, which start to grow at the end of February and the beginning of March in case of a sunny winter. We pick fresh and wonderfully delicious tomatoes every week until the end of December.

This is how we ensure the constant freshness of the products we produce, package and sell!

Packing

Packaging Trivega produce in Kistelek

The high quality goods produced by our members are packed in Kistelek, Csongrád county.

We have to be punctual every day, we can’t slip on store deliveries, we work for time gates. Well-organized teamwork is essential for this, both within and between sites, and we are very proud of that. We deliver our freshly picked products daily to the central warehouses of Pest County close to Budapest, from where they are then transported and placed on the shelves of stores in all parts of the country, within 24 hours.

In addition to the stores’ own audit system, our logistics center also has an IFS audit. All our producing members also have Global Gap certification.

Tracking

Tracking is very important to us, which stores also require of every partner. These rigorous processes serve the interests of customers, even if they are unaware of it. But what does this exactly mean?

Each product has a unique identification number (LOT number). From this we can tell when a given package was made, for which grocery store, which producer member’s product is in it, what packaging material we used and what kind of label is on the product.

If someone has a complaint about a certain product, the system allows us to trace it back to the producer, site, day of collection, packaging. This is a fact that strengthens customer confidence and brand loyalty.

We are hoping to make every customer feel like our products are made with the utmost care, produced and packaged only for them the whole year!
